We really did not think this would be possible with many people likely to be away on holiday. However, the interest was there so we had to think quickly and turned to Doug McCusker`s 2003 run to the coast. It was fantastic then and was just as good this time, so was the weather.
Eight cars set off south from Mile End and half appeared at the lunch stop around the same time. The rest arrived with stories of exciting safaris in all directions, from Pistil Rhaedre waterfall, to Lake Vrnwy - Tony Horett swore he had been past a sign to Gobowen but I think that might have been on the way from home in Wrexham Tony! A brilliant day, thanks Doug and please get working on the next run for us - you are just so good at it!
