After being cancelled last year because of the weather, we held our quiz night at a new venue - the Cranbury Moss Caravan Park. Everyone who was there voted the event and the new venue a great success. Gail was an excellent hostess and the club room is rather more convenient for this sort of event than a pub. In all, there were about 30 people taking part. Thanks to everyone who donated to the raffle, a first for ShACC, the proceeds of which we gave to Gail for hire of the room.
Yoland produced excellent chilli so nobody was hungry, while the site had tea, coffee and soft drinks available and members brought their own beer and wine.
The Greg Stafford Trophy went to Tony
Gittins &
Gari & Do Jones, while the John Baker trophy went back to its
maker. Unfortunately, Yoland was so busy with the chilli that she
completely forgot to take any photographs, but we do have shots of the
trophies.
