The annual quiz was as popular as ever, this time with Roger and Tony Gittins compiling the questions. As usual, there was a great rush of people at the last minute saying they would be coming and a couple of people turned up having forgotten it was quiz night. We had a splendid turnout of 29 people making 9 teams of three people, one of 2 people and three ladies teams. The winning teams were:
1st The Tick Tocks - Greg Stafford, Colin McColl & Ian Hart 23 points
2nd The Farmers - Tony Maiklem and John Baker 22 points
3rd Russ Sanders Royle, Brian Rodgers & Glen Perry 20 ½ points
Ladies team Two Ys & a K - Yo B. Yvonne & Kath Davies 12 points
If the Farmers had heard of Jensen Button, it would have been a different story!
