This was something of a voyage of discovery as none of use had been on many of the roads before and our expert was absent as his car was hors de combat. We did achieve sort of half a record as for the first time ever we all went the same way, but spoilt it by taking two detours from the route due to navigational errors. For future reference, the B5429 is very narrow, particularly at the southern end, and rather rough in places so we would have been much better off on the A525. This caused Andy claim that in this part of Wales A stands for Adequte road and B for Broken road. The B5428 was OK and the B4501 makes for a superb run. The Brenig Resevoir is a lovely spot for a lunch break so will investigate alternative routes.
