Emlyn and Wendy produced another
run to a lake
for us that again introduced us to new roads. The pattern was like last
year in that we travelled out on mostly A roads and then went on
interesting sections to and around the lakes. This year we went down
through Newtown to Llanidloes to first take the ever popular road past
Llyn Clywedog to Machynlleth. We then drove around the Nant-y-Moch
reservoir, and on to the visitor centre off the A44 for lunch. The
route around the reservoir is spectacular.
