After Yoland arranged some publicity in the local press, the enthusiasts who responded met for an inaugural barbecue at the Bridge Inn Ruyton XI Towns on 23rd June 2002. Founding members included Don Geldart, Peter and Stella Gough, Greg Stafford, Peter Day, Nick Patterson and Yoland and Roger Brown.
