Just about every car club in the country has a
run for Drive it Day but ShACC and SYMC kept away from the popular
places and explored an interesting route devised by Yoland through the
depths of Whixall. This is an area where it is easy to get lost
but pleased to say all our cars survived. On hearing where
we were going our local garage owner remembered going to Furbers scrap
yard and said that you never came out of Whixall Moss the same way as
you went in.
We ended up at the Horse and Jockey at Northwood that is now an
community pub. They served us with a variety of sandwiches and some
excellent pork pies
