Despite most of the world being on holiday or otherwise
engaged, 6 cars took “the yellow brick road to see Dorothy”. A road
closure that had appeared overnight caused some confusion and a detour
but we all got there.
As we entered the Dorothy Clive garden, a kind gentleman directed us
away from the car park to a grass area where we could all line up
together and also be right next to the picnic tables.
Depite really being the wrong time of year to visit this garden, it was
a very enjoyable day and a fine spot to have lunch. Suggest a visit in
rhododendron time.
