We were a bit down on numbers this year but there were 16 for lunch at
the Lowfield. Rotten colds kept some away.
The
Winter Run for Lunch is when we present a new President with his trophy
and ask him (so far it has been a chap) to organise a run in
May.
We
were delighted to welcome John Helliwell, member number 8, who had
driven all the way from darkest Yorkshire to be with us. John
joined when he had the Black Swan (Birkin) and has parked on
the
ShACC pitch at every Stoneleigh kit car show since then.
Today,
he is working on the President`s Run while he is in
Shropshire -
that`s dedication.
We were also delighted to welcome our newest member of the Club, Mike
and Elizabeth Reed, number 197!
