As usual we had a merry band of people turning out for the Christmas/New Year Run but it was very cold and open cars were not in evidence. Also, we missed some regulars who were otherwise occupied. The route was round a different block from Nesscliffe service station this year as the Pigeons does not do lunch on Mondays , so we met up at the Tontine Inn at Melverley. The run was a very pleasant change from being sstuck at home and the only incident was a Landrover carburettor icing up - it was cold! The Tontine looked after us very well - we will go there again.
