Last year there were just 6 of us at the
Boreatton Arms
- this year there was a turnout of 10 cars (6 of them open) at Dobbies
car park on the A5 for the run and there were 25 people for a
most
convivial lunch at the Three Pigeons. The pictures
don't do
justice to how cold it was but that didn't spoil the fun. Everyone
agreed it had been a really great day which brought us out of that
Christmas torpor.
One lesson learned is - NEVER drive on the A5 just after Christmas,
none of us had ever seen it so congested - even at Bank Holidays.
Obviously everyone else were on their way
home or to
the sales.
