This was a joint run with SYMC
It was rather a dismal day weather-wise for our run to
the Cae Dai 50s museum but the hoods could stay down on the way there
before the rain got more serious. We didn’t exactly go in an organised
convoy but all those expected arrived, if not at the same time nor not
by the same route.
“Sparrow” Harrison was there to welcome us and those who had been
before happily looked for what was new and what they had missed or not
fully appreciated on previous visits. Those for whom it was their first
visit soon realised that you just can’t take it all in during one
occasion.
After many cases of “I remember that” and “I had one of those” we
enjoyed our picnics in the museum’s small cafe area before returning
hope with or without detours to see more of Wales.
