Well, I don`t know about the best ShACC annual barbecue ever - it was certainly the wettest! Many thanks to those who braved the most DISGUSTING weather to huddle in our kitchen while Rog and Ros Gittins stood in the peeing rain and cooked our hambuggers, sausages, steaks and chicken. Thanks to also to Shirley Rodgers for the delicious strawberry flan.
It had started off badly when we were let down by the pub and had to switch to Brownhill House. The weather on top seemed most unreasonable. Nevertheless, I think everyone had a good time.
