The Apple County lot were coming
up to mid Wales
for their annual weekend camp and, as in the past two years, asked us
to join them. It was only two weeks after out own run but it was great
that Oliver & MonicaWhite and Ian Hart were able to join the
GTM in
another run.
In our case, we were on our way to Cornwall to visit Heligan and Eden
so took the opportunity to tag along with Alan, Trevor and all seven of
the se7ens, for a whiz down to Taunton - their home patch & our
overnight stop. Taunton is also where Ian Stent of CTC rests his head
and he came over to meet us for a drink and a natter. We had a super
evening talking about all sorts of things - not just kit cars!
