Surely the most successful open
evening we have
held - the setting was magical, the weather beautiful and Sue Ellis,
Castle Manager, did great service in the cafe serving sandwiches, cakes
and drinks and there were two pubs nearby which served excellent food.
The
icing on the cake was that we raised £260 for Whittington Castle which
is unique in being a community based charity run largely by volunteers.
